  1. At a church meeting, a woman says: ‘WE NEED TO PRAY FOR SOMEBODY. I WON’T MENTION NAMES.’ Three women listen around the table.
  2. She wheels an enormous display board into the room, scattering papers and startling the others.
  3. She points to a board covered with photos, maps, notes, and connecting string, and says: ‘ANYWAY, IT’S BRENDA.’
